SocietyOne is Australia's first fully compliant peer-to-peer online platform – connecting borrowers and investors in a secure, safe, professional online environment.

SocietyOne Australia Pty Ltd (ACN 151 627 977) ("SocietyOne") is an Australian private company and holder of an Australian Credit License No. 423660.  SocietyOne is an authorised representative, AFS Representative No. 425717 of Ironbark Asset Management Pty Ltd (ACN 136 679 420) being the holder of an Australian Financial Services Licence No. 341020.

SocietyOne is the trustee of the SocietyOne P2P Lending Trust ("Fund").  The Fund is currently an Australian wholesale unregistered managed investment scheme and is not currently registered with the Australian Securities & Investments Commission ("ASIC").   

Until the Fund is registered with ASIC, all investors in the Fund must be wholesale clients as defined in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).  Unless specifically agreed with SocietyOne, SocietyOne will only accept loan applications and applications to invest from Australian-resident persons.  Investors in the Fund hold interests in accordance with the Fund's Constitution.  Loan contracts entered into by successful borrowers are made with SocietyOne as trustee for the Fund.

SocietyOne licenses and operates ClearMatch™ technology and has invested over $6million in the proven loans platform, which delivers a new level of empowerment and control for both the Borrower and Investor.

SocietyOne revolutionises the consumer finance industry, delivering borrower interest rates matching credit profiles and providing investors with the opportunity to invest in this asset class. This means lower interest rates for low risk borrowers and higher rates of return for Australian investors.

SIMPLY A BETTER WAY...

In Australia banks still dominate the consumer credit market. Banks are able to earn above average returns via their personal lending businesses by capturing the difference between their cost of funds, currently similar to the term deposit rates and the average consumer loan interest rate, currently above 15% per annum.

With the emergence of the internet and online credit assessment services, peer-to-peer lenders have emerged in both the US (like LendingClub) and in the UK (like Zopa). SocietyOne is bringing the revolutionary potential of peer-to-peer lending to Australia.

SocietyOne Fees.

**This investor targeted return rate is calculated before tax and based on an optimal allocation by the Trustee to invest across a range of different credit grades with a weighted average interest rate of no less than 13.14%p.a., less Trustee fees and expenses of 1.25%p.a. and assuming the borrowers comply with all repayment of principal and interest payments with no impairment, provisioning or write-off of loans.  Actual returns may be less or may not arise.  SocietyOne Australia Pty Ltd does not guarantee any particular rate of return or the return of capital repayment from the SocietyOne P2P Lending Trust.  Past performance is not an indicator of future performance.
